AT&T Possibly Spilled The Beans On iPhone 5 Release
In the ongoing rumors regarding Apple’s iPhone 5 release being September or October, we are now hearing for the first time about AT&T officials leaking word of the iPhone 5 release being in October. According to a report from BGR, a high-ranked AT&T official seems to have spilled the bills on an October iPhone 5 launch by running top secret information down the flag pole to his or her retail managers. Specifically, “high level” AT&T sources” reveal that September marks the iPhone 5 unveiling but the product will be rolled out in stores a few weeks later. “Expect things to get really, really busy in the next 35-50 days,” the report reads, quoting AT&T sources in conversation with their retail team leaders. “So prepare your teams accordingly.” The source in question has only been identified as an “AT&T Vice President” with other specifics not being made available. As usual, stay tuned for more info on the topic by following us on Facebook, Twitter, and/or subscribing to our RSS feed. Authors:
