Le 11 septembre, dans le district de Thathom au Laos, le barrage Nam Ao Dam a cédé alors qu'il était en cours de construction. En dehors de dégats important, fort heureusement aucune victime n'est à déplorer dans cette région relativement peu habitée et la plupart des fermiers ont eu le temps de se mettre en sécurité.

On 11 September, in the Thathom district of Laos, the Nam Ao Dam dam was ceded while under construction. Apart from major damage, fortunately no victim is to be deplored in this relatively uninhabited area and most farmers have had time to get safe.
