The team over Firecore is all set to release an untethered Seas0nPass jailbreaking tool on the Windows platform that jailbreaks Apple TV 2G on the iOS 4.2.1 firmware. Seas0nPass is like an existing PwnageTool that allows you to create custom AppleTV IPSW files and restore them in iTunes. Now when GreenPois0n RC6 is out, a new version of the Seas0nPass untethered jailbreak will be made available very soon. The first beta version of Seas0nPass for Windows has gone out to those who signed up for the Seas0nPass beta earlier this week. Barring any major setbacks, or show-stopping bugs we’re hoping to have a public version available next week. As of right now, Seas0nPass only supports the 2nd generation Apple TV 2 and is Mac OS specific (with a requirement of Mac OS X 10.6 or later).
