The popular iPhone developer, iH8sn0w has released Sn0wbreeze 2.2 for windows that apparently fixes iBook issue as well. The updated sn0wbreeze uses a kernel vulnerability ‘feedface’ (used in Greenpois0n) in conjunction with limera1n’s bootrom exploit to achieve an untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak. Sn0wBreeze 2.2 Features: Baseband Preservation Mode: Like PwnageTool, the new sn0wbreeze 2.2 will accompany Baseband Preservation Mode that will allow you to restrict the baseband to update, allowing user to unlock it later using Ultrasn0w. Pacman game: Building custom IPSW firmware takes time and is sometime annoying. The hacker has added an interesting option that allows you to play a Pacman game while the IPSW is building in sn0wbreeze 2.2. You can even switch between IPSW building screen and Pacman anytime. Custom Boot Logo: Like Greenpois0n, it will have an option to install custom boot logos. Those who are unaware, a custom boot logo is what shows when you boot up the device (by default, a white Apple logo). Likewise, the custom boot logo is the graphic that you see after iPhone boots up. Hit the video of custom boot logo in action.
