[How To] Enable FaceTime App On iPad Using iFacePad

Good news for iPad users, now you can easily enable FaceTime on your iPad by using iFacePad. Recently we posted step by step instructions on how to enable FaceTime on iPad manually. Now we are going to share step by step instructions using iFacePad to enable FaceTime on iPad easily. You should note that you will need to have a jailbroken iPad so you can follow the step by step instructions posted here to jailbreak your iPad on iOS 4.2.1. Disclaimer: This guide is for information and educational purposes only. Use it at your own risk, we cannot be held responsible if anything goes wrong. Requirements: You will need to copy the following folders from your iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4 firmware to your Jailbroken iPad running 4.2.1 (either untethered or tethered) Conference.framework, IMCore.framework MobilePhone.app, ConferenceRegistrationSettings.bundle, AVFoundation.framework, Celestial.framework, UISounds Step 1. Step 2. Jailbreak your iPad ( in case you didn’t already ) Step 3. Launch Cydia and install OpenSSH and AFC2 ( greenpois0n adds AFC2 by default – tutorial ) Step 4. Run PhoneDisk make sure to enable root and connect to root Step 5. Run iFacePad.app Step 6. Reboot iPad NOTE: If FaceTime doesn’t work after reboot, make sure permissions are set correct on mobilePhone.app and in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/IMcore.framework/IMAgent.app is set 755. Also remember that the iPad doesn’t have a camera, so the other person can’t see you. This hack is for Mac users only.
