There is finally a new jailbreak tweak available, found on Cydia, which allows you to toggle the ability to enable or disable iOS 4.x features without having to go through the pain of using SSH to get into your device. The tweak which, named MyOS,claims to “easily enable and disable features on your device straight from Settings without having to edit plist” files. Here is what the company had to say about it:

Toggle one or more features and then press the Respring button. By default, only the default features for your platform are enabled as of version 1.0.1

Requires iOS 4.0+

The list of the following features can be enabled or disabled using MyOS for your iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, iPad, and iPod Touch:

  • Multitasking
  • Homescreen Wallpapers
  • Unified iPod
  • App Store
  • Contacts
  • HDR Photography
  • Game Center
  • Camera
  • Voice Control

MyOS can come in very handy for slower iOS devices such as the iPhone 3G or iPod Touch 2G and you enable or disable both the supported and unsupported features like Game Center, HDR Photography, Multitasking, Voice Control, and Wallpapers. You wont have to install or uninstall apps individually for any of the mentioned features. To use this app, you will obviously need to go through Cydia, so your iPhone needs to be jailbroken. You can get the tweak for $0.99 from Cydia under the BigBoss repository.
