Indira Varma. She’ll join Mark Valley, who plays risk-taking security expert Christopher Chance, and Chi McBride, who plays Chance’s associate, Winston.

“She’s basically going to become our Charlie,” said McBride, “and we will be the Angels. But they wanted us to wear, like, sexy, tight-fittin’ dresses. We said, ‘Nah, we can’t do that shit.’”

Human Target, based loosely on the DC Comics title of the same name, returns to Fox on Friday, Oct. 1, at 8 p.m.
