A company that goes by the name of Applidium has just been approved for their VLC for iPad app. VLC, which almost every has probably heard of, is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player, that plays almost every type of media file.  The player has every codec built-in, meaning you never have to download one again. It is the best go-to media player on desktops and now for the first time ever, it’s on your iPad as well. This means no more converting videos and spending hours waiting for mp4′s to pump out. Being that it is available for free, it is a MUST HAVE on any iPad.
