As mentioned previously, iOS 5.0.1 has supposedly fixed the battery life issues as well. It is currently available via the computer or OTA as well. For those of you who prefer to update via the computer, you can hit the download links below: Download iOS 5.0.1 MuscleNerd of the iPhone dev team has warned jailbreakers and unlockers to avoid upgrading to iOS 5.0.1. He just tweeted: Jailbreakers and unlockers should avoid today’s 5.0.1 until a flow for downgrading to 5.0 is developed. As previously mentioned, the exploit pod2g discovered was one specifically to help untether iOS 5. Updating to iOS 5.0.1 would prevent you from performing the untethered jailbreak for your iOS device, so we’d recommend against it.
