For many of you who have been switching computers and having to suffer through the pain of transferring iTunes libraries, Christmas has come early. Given that syncing files between computers (particularly between Macs and Windows PCs) is not one of the most fun tasks, there will likely be some considerable comfort taken in by the new CopyTrans application named TuneSwift.

TuneSwift can quickly backup an iTunes library stored on your preferred iDevice. It uses “incremental backups” and store updates are made simplar in the absence of having to update the complete library. The most desirable attribute is TuneSwift’s ability to transfer an iTunes library to a new copmuter, a different location within the same computer, or even an external hard drive without any issues. The software is worth a mention not only in the light of the neat service it provides but also because it is available at no cost until March 15th (using the promo code “tuneswift-acti-vate-me”). If the holiday season brings with it a new computer, tablet, or iDevice of some variety, having the ability to transfer or back up your iTunes library will be dramatically simplified with TuneSwift.

As usual, stay tuned for more tips and tricks regarding your iDevices by following us on Twitter and/or subscribing to our RSS feed.
