That didn’t take long. Less than a week after YouTube removed videos featuring jihadi cleric Anwar al-Awlaki — and less than a day since Awlaki dropped a new vid calling for the killing of Americans

– clips of Awlaki’s latest call to arms are available on, you guessed it, YouTube.

The video, entitled “You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it,” was released on jihadi websites via file-hosting services on November 8. That same day, clips of the video were uploaded to YouTube.

The video informs viewers that they need not seek permission from religious scholars before killing Americans, according to a Flashpoint Partners translation.

“Do not consult anyone in killing the Americans,” Awlaki says in the video. “Fighting Satan does not require a jurisprudence. It does not require consulting. It does not need a prayer for the cause. They are the party of Satan, and fighting them is a matter of time. With them we reached: either us or you.”

YouTube had been under pressure from the British government to remove content featuring Awlaki’s calls for violence after a woman who had recently viewed Awlaki’s sermons on the site attempted to kill a Member of Parliament. Last week, Britain’s Daily Telegraph claimed it found 150 results in a YouTube search for Awlaki’s notorious “44 ways to support jihad” sermon after the site claimed it had begun removing such content.

Today, a similar search yields no examples of the sermon on YouTube, though a number of Awlaki’s similarly inciting sermons from years past are still available, in addition to his most recent video.
