One of the main perks of owning a Windows Mobile device is the relationship between it and your Windows-running computer. You can take advantage of the interconnectivity between the two and put the phone to good use even when you have something larger to work with. BigMani from the XDA Developers forum has created Remote Control App for Windows Mobile that is one of the many good examples of this. The application, which is available in two languages, English and German, uses WLAN or an ActiveSync connection to allow you to control various functions on your PC through your Windows Phone. Inlcuded is the ability to control media players (including VLC), mice, keyboards, presentation software, and Windows Media Center.
The application should work on all WVGA-resolution based Windows Mobile devices provided that they are running Windows Mobile 6.0+ and .NET Compact Framework version 3.5. You can find the download link in the official application thread by hitting the source link below!
