TinyUmbrella 4.1.11 provides full support for iOS 4.1. TinyUmbrella let you save SHSH blobs (necessary for restoring older firmware) for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. I’ve also made a slight UI adjustment: when you click save shsh, the connected device AND the known device will show the spinner indicating progress. I’ve added a new preference for overwriting shsh’s when performing an shsh request. (defaults to true)
For those who don’t know, TinyUmbrella lets you save SHSH blobs for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Apple TV which are required to be able to downgrade device firmware to an older version. Using TinyUmbrella, you can update iPhone 4 to iOS 4.1 without updating baseband.
NOTE:
- It preserves baseband of iPhone 4 ONLY. iPhone 3GS and 3G users can only preserve baseband with PwnageTool/Sn0wBreeze.
- Developer @notcom tweeted about Mac users to turn off port 80 for websharing when running TinyUmbrella TSS Server.
