According to DC’s blog The Source, which previewed Superman: Earth One Thursday morning, this “Superman for the 21st century” will have to struggle for connection to a humanity lost in its personal technology and social media. It’s the first time the superhero’s roots have been rebooted in original graphic novel form.

Superman: Earth One strays somewhat from upgraded psychodrama once an alien armada arrives.
