Cheerleader-Eating Mascot Terrorizes NFL Sidelines

This can’t be the way NFL commissioner Roger Goodell envisoned starting the 2010 season.

As the Tennessee Titans were handily beating the Oakland Raiders yesterday in Nashville, T-Rac (the official mascot of the Titans) stormed LP Field and brutally consumed one of the

Titans’ unsuspecting cheerleaders in front of 69,143 stunned fans in attendance, as well as millions more watching on TV with their mouths agape.

Normally, sports mascots are known for their friendly demeanor and acceptance of our human love of athletics, but sometimes (as you’re about to see) that tenuous relationship can shatter without notice. When that happens, the consequences can be swift and devastating.

Dan Fouts’ flippant attitude aside, local police must already that realize the T-Rac spotted at LP Field is not the actual T-Rac, since they look nothing alike, but Nashville detectives have made no official comment. The good news is that authorities may have already a solid lead, since this isn’t the first time it’s happened.

Since February, Canadian authorities have been investigating the similar disappearance of one of the Toronto Raptors’ cheerleaders:

As you can hear, the announcers in both instances were too simply stunned to do much of anything upon witnessing the shocking inhalations.

We can only pray that this monster is brought to justice before long.
