The first season of the sci-fi series whose eerie theme song has become synonymous with weird phenomena gets reissued on Blu-ray this week. Trafficking in parallel realities, time travel, ESP and existential angst, The Twilight Zone: Season 1 Blu-ray box set powers through 36 mind-bending episodes remastered for high-def viewing.
Image Entertainment ’s five-disc collection (suggested retail $100) includes 19 new audio commentaries, 34 music scores, 18 radio dramas, new and archival interviews, the original unaired pilot version of “Where Is Everybody?” and Serling’s network pitch and audio college lectures.
