Listen to Wired magazine and Wired.com editors discuss the world of gaming in this new weekly podcast.

Game|Life editor Chris Kohler, Wired.com managing editor Marty Cortinas and Wired magazine senior editors Peter Rubin and Chris Baker join forces this week to talk about Steve Jobs’ impact on gaming, the social platforming game Glitch and the takeover of Tokyo Game Show by smartphones among other stories.

Longtime readers of Game|Life may remember our three-episode trial run at a podcast in 2009. With four devoted gamers on staff, I felt we finally had enough unique voices to pull off a weekly show like this.

Beginning this week, our plan is to release new episodes every Friday for your weekend listening pleasure. Please don’t hesitate to tell us what we’re doing right and wrong. We’ll drop any corrections, additional information, etc., into these posts.

The Game|Life Audio podcast can be found on iTunes and is embedded below.

Game|Life Audio Podcast Returns: Episode 1Chris Kohler is the founder and editor of Wired.com's Game|Life, and the author of Power-Up: How Japanese Video Games Gave the World an Extra Life. He will talk your ear off about Japanese curry rice.
