A new app for Windows Phone 7 named Browser+ was released recently. It relies on the same basic rendering engine as the mobile version of Internet Explorer but offers several different features. For example, it supports browser tabs which let you open multiple windows by tapping a Plus icon at the top of the screen. It also allows you to switch between tabs the way you would with the desktop version fo internet explorer and you can close any tab by simply hitting the X icon. There is also a private mode which lets you surf the web without saving your browsing history, much like the desktop Internet Explorer’s incognito mode. It also happens to have an “Open in IE” button in case you want to send the page to a default web browser. Unfortunately there isn’t any support for landscape browsing as of right now.

The folks over at WP Central shot a demo video of it which you can find below. Browser+ is currently available for $0.99 from the Windows Phone Marketplace.
