Possibility of Early Apple Store Hours Tuesday Morning
Many recent surfacing reports point towards Apple stores opening as much as one hour earlier than usual on Tuesday to accommodate shoppers who haven’t yet been able to purchase the presently sold-out iPad 2. Despite, no solid confirmation from Apple, it has widely been reported that Apple stores are receiving major shipments of the iPad 2 this evening, and as a result, will have their employees report to work extra early Tuesday morning. Calls to more than a dozen Apple stores around the US failed to confirm this report, although some of the Apple store employees spoken with reiterated that their store opens at 8:00 am, much earlier than the 10:00 am opening hours of most Apple stores. It is possible that the stores with later opening hours may unlock the doors at 9:00 am instead. While it does appear that huge iPad 2 shipments are definitely inbound tonight, there is no telling where the goods will end up. If in fact Apple stores do open early tomorrow, we likely won’t know which ones until later tonight – if at all.
