The iPhone Dev-Team has already implemented the SHAtter exploit into PwnageTool and a few days ago, MuscleNerd demoed an iPod Touch 4G jailbreak using a SHAtter based PwnageTool. iPhonewiki has also been updated with a SHAtter entry. All of these pieces of information, once connected, lead us to believe that GreenPoison, PwnageTool, or any new SHAtter based jailbreak release is a matter of days now (not weeks).
A SHAtter based jailbreak, once released, will jailbreak the iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, iPad, and iPod Touch 4G, 3G, 2G running iOS 4.1. Many people are eagerly waiting for the SHAtter based iOS 4.1 jailbreak to be released. We will keep you posted as soon as the Chronic Dev Team pushes the official iOS 4.1 jailbreak tool. Until then, avoid the fake GreenPoison (the one pushing trojans) floating all over the cloud.
